MY ROLE
Senior Designer / Website Concept Development.
The One Show
In 2012, the JWT design team was commissioned the task of creating the concept and visual identity of the 2013 OneShow. The One Show awards recognize and showcase outstanding creative work across advertising, interactive, design, branded entertainment and intellectual property fields. “We all desire, will you deserve?” was the concept-like-mantra recurrent across all design pieces which included a call for entries, The Wheel of Karma online game, email blasts, magazine ads, animated banners, interstitials and posters. Inspired by the by the concentric and mystic forms of the“mandala”, these design pieces illustrated the hardships and sacrifices that are innate to the creative process and the immense satisfaction found when it is fully brought to fruition.
